Workflow with Luke Course, Founder & Director of Regional Billboard Co.

In this edition of Workflow, we have Luke Course (who was nominated by Morris Bryant), the founder and director of Regional Billboard Co. talking about his workflow on the road.

Workflow is an interview series by Balance the Grind to get a glimpse into people’s working styles and workspaces. If you’re interested in sharing your workflow, submit it here!

Describe what you do: My brother and I run Regional Billboard Co. We develop large-format billboards across Regional Victoria – helping our advertisers expose themselves (without any legal complications). Due to the amount of time we spend on the road, my title could easily be VP, Meat Pies.

How do you like your coffee: Large cappuccino, one sugar.

Device(s) you use: I have been on the Microsoft Surface bandwagon for 7 years. The versatility is important – one day it is hooked up to two monitors, the next it’s on my lap on a park bench in Bendigo!

Describe your working style in one sentence: I start most days promising myself I will get up earlier the following day and exercise before work. The best part about starting your day with broken promises is you can only become more authentic and energetic from there!

What does your workspace look like: I can be extremely creative with where I scrawl notes from phone conversations – I don’t discriminate against any flat surface. It is also not unusual for my 1.5L water bottle to be under attack from our two kittens – Ja Rule and Ashanti.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: The office soundtrack is diverse – at either ends of the spectrum on Spotify would be Fresh Country and Rap Caviar.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: CEO of Big Screen Video – Paul Ellery.
