In this edition of Workflow, we have Adam Griffin, the Director of Sales for WordPress VIP at Automattic, and personal development writer and author.
Describe what you do: I’m the Director of Sales for WordPress VIP, the enterprise division of Automattic. I am also a personal development writer and author, and publish a daily personal development email at VitruvianProject.co.
How do you like your coffee: Black and consistently refilled. But never after 12pm which is where the inevitable headache is waiting for me.
Device(s) you use: MacBook Air for writing and the Google Pixelbook for daily work.
Describe your working style in one sentence: I like to knock out a lot of busy work out in the morning because it sets a productive tone for my day, and my writing / creative time is reserved for after the kids go to bed.
What does your workspace look like: I bounce between coffee shops (wait, what are those like again?), my desk (nothing to write home about), the kitchen counter, and the back patio. I live out of my backpack and like the freedom to roam when working. If I’m on a call, there’s a 90% chance I take it while walking around the neighborhood.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Avicii radio on Pandora (yes, I’m one of those weird Pandora people).
Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Pete Jokisch.
Before you go…
