This conversations is brought to you by SolidGigs, the best freelance jobs, hand-picked & delivered daily. Trade your worst clients for some of the best companies in the world with SolidGigs.

Describe what you do: I’m going to answer this since isolation began in March: I am the creator of the PESO Model, an agency owner coach, blogger, author, podcaster, PR firm owner, cyclist, and first grade teacher. I will be very, very happy to retire the first grade teacher title.

How do you like your coffee: I don’t drink coffee. Don’t kill me! I love the smell; can’t stand the taste.

Device(s) you use: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Trek Domane+ LT9 bicycle

Describe your working style in one sentence: Highly organized and very structured (I’m a bit OCD).

What does your workspace look like: Right now, it’s the front porch of our house in the middle of Chicago, four blocks west of Wrigley Field. As a first grade teacher on top of business owner, I’ve found working outside (now that it’s not the frozen tundra) does wonders for our focus and our attitudes. I do have a normal desk in a normal home office, but we like the porch better.

How does your workspace affect your creative process: Interesting question! I don’t think it does. I can work from pretty much anywhere, anytime and be creative. I will say this, though: riding my bike is the best thing for my creativity. Headphones aren’t allowed so it’s just me and my thoughts and that’s when I do my best thinking.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Because my intern is seven years old, I listen to a lot of Kidz Bop. I know every pop song on the air today, without the swear words.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Nick Harrison.
